Jasmine Trice

JASMINE NADUA TRICE is a lecturer in the Ideas and Exposition Programme at the National University of Singapore, where she teaches a module in globalization and screen media.

Her advocacy in the Philippines includes volunteer work for WeDpro, as well as research and writing for the People's Communications for Development project for Isis International-Manila.

Her dissertation, “Transnational Cinema, Transcultural Capital: Cinema Distribution and Exhibition in Metro-Manila, Philippines, 2006-2009,” was awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2011 SCMS Dissertation Award. The committee was composed of academic representatives from prestigious universities in the United States.
